ATLS: Primary Survey Overview
- Airway
- Assess patency
- Assess any airway trauma
- Intervene as needed to secure/protect airway
- Breathing
- Assess presence/adequacy of respirations
- Pulse oximetry
- Intervene as needed
- Circulation
- Disability
- Exposure/Environment
- Remove all clothing and jewelry
- Cover patient after initial exam
